Waiting out the storm..

Well hey there!!!
its been awhile we have been crazy busy with life the good the bad the ups the downs everything! we just got home from spending the weekend with family had lots of fun and now we are sitting here waiting to see what Hurricane Sandy might bring us...we are prepared for the worse but praying for the best,  we have our home ready for whatever may come.

Fall Fun

Wow its been awhile!! well its October the leaves are changing all the fall fun is happening and we are keeping Very busy...
so far we have gone on a few fun fall time things and loved it. keira is keeping me buy between school and dance and anything else she gets into.
I'm trying to slow life down just a little and enjoy this time of year its one of my favorites the colors the cool crisp air and the smell of fall its beautiful God art work at its finest.

A Date!!..

 

Today we had church and then came home for a short nap only to jump in the car again to go on an afternoon date! thanks to my parents for taking keira on a hike:) we decided to head over to houser winery and spend the afternoon drinking a sparkling wine with some of the best cheese ever! it was beautiful weather, beautiful place and with my amazing husband. it was also nice they had an even going on with lots of dogs so i got to meet two golden retriever pup!fell in love;)...

Weekend Fun..

This weekend we finally did it. after over a month of trying to decide and throw around the idea of buying a motor cycle we finally did it! we got OUR bike;) karl is working hard to get the hang of it so i can quickly get on the back! its a beauty and will be so much fun to ride. another wonderful investment for our life:)

I also want to show off my awesome Adirondack chair that karl did done up for me! it was this ugly pink color before he got ahold of it and now its beautiful he also made the little table along the side, hes so handy...

A Wedding day

Im so far behind on here!! but i want to start with a post for sept 8th my aunts wedding day! we all spent the day getting ready and helping out karl did a song and i did the pictures and it was a beautiful event!! Congrats to aunt sherry and tom we love you.

Pre-K

so today was miss keira Leigh's first day of Pre-k!!! she looked so pretty and was super excited about going.Karl and i didn't do to bad no tears or anything! but now i have been counting down the time for her to come home since about the moment i dropped her off lol i miss my little girl!! i pray her day is wonderful and she comes home with all sorts of fun things to tell me about...almost that time!:)

Oh September

It is now the 2nd day of september! time for colors to change, the air to slowly start turning a cool crisp, pumpkins and mums, and all the good fall smells!! It brings joy and warmth to my heart just thinking about it..Its such a special time of year for everyone your crazy if you dont LOVE the fal;) Yesterday we spent the evening at Caledonia with family having a picnic and just enjoying one another it was a fun relaxing evening! this tuesday is keiras first day of Pre-k we are sooo excited and so sad at the same time:( our little girl is growing way to fast i dont even know how we got to 4 already! pics from our day yesterday, enjoy!
