Oooh What A Thursday!

Tonight has been a grand way to spend a Thursday evening! Karl got home and we got right to making dinner on the grill. I Love working together to make dinner with him, it tasted wonderful! then we had all the makings for some sweet smores and we wasted no time to get a fire going in the fire pit! We had our first smores of the year and they were awesome;) then we ran around the yard awhile until we found a cute little robin egg. keira loved the color and size of it. we found the nest it fell out of and made sure to put it back in, there were two other little eggs waiting on it. we then went on a hunt for more nest and found another nest from last year in use with four robin eggs. they are so beautiful the tiny little blue things! we then came inside to clean up as a storm rolled in. I could sit and listen to a spring thunder storm forever! keira was promised to spend the night with mimi and papa. so they came to pick her up! so now she is there spending the night while i sit here drinking my hot tea and karl works hard on the bathroom;)
tomorrow its back to work for the first time in a year, so any prayers and thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

Busy Week.

Hello there:)
 its been a very busy week!! Trip to Frederick for keiras dentist apt with my mom and sister ad had lunch at this cute place called Cafe Nola, grocery shopping,keira has dance class, we made cookies and i got called back to work a day early! so needless to say i have to be in there tomorrow morning at 10am. Praying for a great attitude and reminding myself to hang onto all of my blessings!
Karl started to rip apart our bathroom 2 days ago and is working on taking down old wall paper we will then paint it and make it look totally new! can not wait for the bathroom to be back to normal and better then before:) i will def put some before and after pictures up when we are All done!
He also totally did redo on a desk my grandmother gave us a long time ago and it looks Amazing! he is so good at whatever he puts his mind to.

It's Been Good..

It was a pretty good week:) went on some little adventures and kept very busy!
we took some drives, Karl surprised me with two of my favorite things, i went to see the lucky one and loved it since that was my favorite book by him, keira had her first year of dance pictures, we did some kayaking and some fishing, finally got the new Andrew Bird cd so my heart was very happy and i painted my toes pink very fresh and girly;)
We have alot of things we would like to accomplish here in the near future, some goals some dreams some things to decide on! and some stuff in the works as we speak. We continue to walk together and keep God at the center believing that whatever he already has written is perfect for us!
Next weekend i head back to the old job just for a little while and only 2 days a week but its alot harder then i thought it would be. however i count ourselves BLESSED for God has really been seeing us through Alot of stuff and he has made a way.
this has been something i have read often over the last few months and hold onto.

What a week.

So its Tuesday ONLY Tuesday!!
this week is a busy one. yesterday we spent about an hour at norlo park and i left with sun burn. then we spent a good 2 hours on the lake kayaking around the whole thing. had such a beautiful time! So love being out there on the water with just the sound of nature and my cute husband beside me.
 But i left there with 2 nice blisters on both thumbs!
and then last night keira would not sleep once again for like the 4th week in a row...add the foot that is still healing and I'm feeling a little run down today!!!
Hopefully my 2 cups of coffee and hair apt. picks the day up a little. once tomorrow hits its non stop till Saturday! whoo...

Sweet Sunday..

Sunday-  was another day FULL of plans! I love warm sunny days that we can fill with new places and adventures! it's def. that time of year:)
we started the day with a visit to another church and then came home for some lunch and a change of clothes. then my family picked us up for some time spent at the War Museum.
Keira just loved walking in all the buildings and the dug outs. She just loves adventures!
we then took a drive to the nearest Sweet Frog! Oh my goodness it was lovely and need i say SWEET! We all had such a wonderful time there trying new things. Can not wait to go back!!!
So that was our weekend and it was wonderful. we needed a Good weekend that was full of fun times.

Oooh Saturday..

Saturday-
was beautiful out! we had a full day of plans. First thing we got up to have our Krumpe's i was SO EXCITED! needless to say we ate way to many;) Then after getting around we jumped in the car for a drive to Beautiful Gettysburg where we stopped at one of my favorite coffee shops ragged edge for some yummy coffee to get us started! keira loves the outside patio/garden they have out back where we stopped for awhile to sip the goodness!
Then we headed over to the outlets for just a little summer shopping. Found some great deals to. Karl and keira hit up the bakery in town for some awesome fresh bread. They were in heaven!!!
On the ride back keira conked out before we dropped her off with my mom to spend the afternoon playing and fishing.
We then went to spend out little date out on Letterkenny lake in the kayaks with fishing poles and a book! It was such a beautiful Saturday all thanks to my amazing sweet husband and his wonderful plans!

Happy Easter A Little Late!..

Well I'm a little behind here so your going to get alot of updating all at once!
First i want to start with Easter that was over a week ago now:)
It was a beautiful chilly day we spent the morning at church and then spent the rest of the afternoon with our family. Lots of food and hiding eggs over and over again!
It was a great day. keira didn't make it home before she crashed an it didn't take long for us to get those PJ's on and sink into the couch for the rest of the evening. so belated Happy Easter Everyone!

Easter Weekend!

It's Easter weekend!! and today we spent time picking up around this house, made some lemon cheese cake bars and took some naps!! Then 4pm we went to spend Easter with my side of the family. Fun times filled with egg hunt and LOTS of puppies:) Keira just loves being around family, people that love and play with her! Now we are home the PJ's are on and we are calming down with some toast, hot tea an a Disney movie! Happy Easter Weekend Everyone!!

Berkeley Springs!..

Its the weekend once again!! thank goodness.. Its been another one of those weeks!
but karl had off today Good Friday and that was nice:) we had some beautiful weather. Yesterday i went to the doctor for my foot and was told it was healing great and nothing would have to be done to it so Yay for that! i do however have to be in this awesome (rolls eyes) boot for another 2 weeks:(
Got some goodies this week 2 movies and a kid book that I LOVE and will most likely be mine!
Today we took awhile to get around but when we finally did we drove to Berkeley Springs WV for the day and had lots of fun walking around the warm springs and some Antique Shops!! Keira was super excited to see the castle but was a little confused why she could not go inside and WHY did someone own it and live there if they were not a prince or princess that was Not right!!!
It was a pretty good day we need more of them!

The Blues..

Well its Monday the start to a new week! and i must say Thank God!!!!
Even though last week held some good moments and times it was full of the blues, Lots of stuff went on and half way through i broke part of my foot :(
I spent that whole day in the doctors finding out what was going to be done. i will go back Thursday this week to find out if they will have to pin it or not! So I'm praying for some big healing to happen so i can get pass that. The weekend wasn't to much more promising!!
So needless to say I'm praying God blesses the week and weekend ahead of us!!!
April 14th we have plans for Karl and I to spend the night ALONE at the Bavarian Inn in Shepherdstown! The first time we have been away from keira over night and its about time. the plan is Blue Moon Cafe, walking around town, pm pills for a full good nights sleep and the Bakery in the am. i must say I'm so excited for the 14th to get here!!!!
Today the sun is out and shining on me while i sit here on the sun porch with my coffee and I'm feeling the promise that the Blues will not last, that there is something outstanding up ahead!
