Weekend Around The House..

Hey there:)
This weekend started out with alot of rain and much cooler! Also had what i think was our first thunder storm:) I Love a nice thunder storm! keira how ever does not!
Saturday Karl and i went to see the hunger games!! It was very good. we both enjoyed it. The book of course was much better since the movie missed Alot of the book.
I love going on dates with my husband i just hope to be able to do it more and more.
Sunday turned out to be a very cool pretty day. Karl spent a lot of time taking care of some odds and ends outside of the house. We took lots of pictures of our home in bloom. such a beautiful time when things turn to life with sounds and color! we then made a trip to the store for some lumber to build window box's. I not only found my first ever four leaf clover i found a five leaf clover along with it! hope i found some insane luck!!! And then we ended the weekend with the Adventures Of Tin Tin!

After a long day for Karl working and me running around Everywhere for different appointments we wanted to do nothing but have a lazy Thursday evening!
So we packed a picnic, fishing gear, the dog and went to long pine just to be outside and not feel like we had a hundred other things to do around the house.
It was a very nice way to spend the evening. the fish keira and i went fishing for were the minnows that she then brought home with her:) we will see how that goes..
And that was how we spent our Thursday!

A Pretty Weekend!

This weekend was beautiful! the weather was warm and wonderful and not a drop of rain.
we started out Friday night by cooking hot dogs over an open fire!
Saturday Karl and i spent the whole day Spring cleaning the house its such an awesome feeling to have a clean neat home after all that!! we really worked together and got it all done. then we spent time running around outside with keira.

Sunday we went to church then rushed home to load up the kayaks and pack our stuff

and head up to long pine for the whole day! we spent hours out there on the water

and had a nice picnic with our family!

it was the perfect end to a pretty weekend. so thankful for all the sun warmth and fun this weekend! i needed some time to just enjoy the little things in life.

Sping Is In The Air..

Spring is definitely in the air these days!! I'm so excited to walk out the front door to the sweet smell of a spring flower, and slowly watch the trees come to life with leaves and color! I have watched the farmers take the earth from its winter slumber to a rich brown color .
The windows have been open almost every day this week bringing the house lots of cheer, its amazing what some warm air and sunshine can do for a soul! And i thank God for this week of beautiful weather he really knew my soul needed some cheer!!!
And finally my little family cant wait to be outside and stop being so cooped up....ahhhh spring:)

First Times...

This will be my very first post, ever! I'm so excited to have a place to come and share our fun, lazy, loud, crazy, boring out of control days!!!
What better way to start then to share yesterday with you:)
Karl and I loaded our Kayaks up for the very first time and made our way up to the mountain to spend some time up at long pine!
We were so excited to invest in something that was just for the two of us, something we would both enjoy and find hours of fun in!
I look forward to every second in the future spent out there on that quiet peaceful lake with a book in hand and my sweet husband beside me fishing!
needless to say our first trip out did not last as long as we would have liked the cold crept in and the sun went down to fast on us! But the days are finally getting longer and warmer:)
